Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine besondere Ausführungsform des in dem Patent Nr. 70854 beschriebenen Separators.The present invention relates to a particular embodiment of the in the U.S. Patent No. 70854.

Der neue Separator besteht aus einem von zwei Deckeln d und e und einem Mantel f gebildeten Gehäuse, welches durch Schrauben c zusammengehalten wird. Die Zahl der Abflufsleitungen, welche bei der gezeichneten Form nur zwei ist, kann jedoch, wie dies in dem Haupt-Patent auch schon angedeutet ist, beliebig vergröfsert werden. Innerhalb des Gehäuses befindet sich eine Schraube m aus Kupferblech oder einem anderen zweckentsprechenden Material, deren einzelne Gänge durch gleichfalls schraubenförmig herumlaufende Blechstreifen I derart aus einander gehalten werden, dafs sich ein zwar niedriger, aber breiter schraubenförmiger Kanal b bildet, welcher das flachgedrückte Rohr b des Haupt-Patentes darstellt und die Mündung i des Zuflufsrohres α und diejenige k der Abflufsleitungen ι und 4 verbindet. Die Blechstreifen / und die Kupferspirale m können, nachdem die Schrauben c kräftig angezogen wurden, von aufsen weich verlöthet werden, und um die Dichtung vollkommen zu machen, werden die Hohlräume g und h mit einem geeigneten Metall ausgegossen.The new separator consists of a housing formed by two covers d and e and a casing f , which is held together by screws c.
