Dieser unmittelbar sichtbare Weißdruck hat den Nachteil, daß auch in der Ausschaltstellung die weiße Schicht die Lichtstrahlen der Küchenbeleuchtung stark reflektiert und damit einen sogenannten Phantomeffekt bewirkt, aufgrund dessen keine klare, zweifelsfreie Unterscheidung zwischen dem ausgeschalteten und dem eingeschalteten Zustand des Herdes mehr möglich ist.
