Das Einfüllen und Herausnehmen der Wäsche kann hierbei erfolgen, ohne daß das Filter abgenommen zti werden braucht. Bei Abnahme des Filters kann es nämlich leicht vorkommen, daß die abgeschiedenen Unreinigkeiten in die Waschtrommel oder die Waschlauge zurückgelangen. Das Filter ist am oberen Ende der Trommel, und zwar an dem gewöhnlich vorhandenen, nach innen eingezogenen Rand der Waschtrommel befestigt oder tritt auch selbst an Stelle dieses eingezogenen Randes. Die Leitflächen bieten den besonderen Vorteil, daß die Unreinigkeiten bei Verstopfung des Filters nicht in das Waschgefäß gelangen, so daß eine Beschmutzung der soeben gereinigten Wäsche verhütet wird. Das ist selbst dann nicht möglich, wenn durch neu binzufließende Waschlösung die abgeschiedenen Unreinigkeiten hochgewirbelt werden.
