Description
- Reinigungsmittel für Zähne und Zahnersatz Es wurde gefttnden, daß pulverförmige Mischungen mit einem Gehalt an einem tryptischen, eiweißlösenden Enzym und einem trockenen Peroxyd oder Peroxydderivat sich vorziiglich als Reinigungsmittel für Zähne und Zahnersatz,. insbesondere Zahnprothesen, eignen.
- Die reinigende und desinfizierende \Virkung tritt in wäßriger Lösung schon bei gewöhnlicher oder wenig erhöhter Temperatur cin. Die Lösung bleibt für die Zeit des Gebrauchs haltb,ar und wirksam.
- Zweckmäßig stellt man das Mittel durch Zusatz von alkalisch reagierenden Salzen wie Natüumcarbonat und bzw. oder Natriumbicarbonat schwach alkalisch ein.
- Als tryptische, eiweißlösende Enzyme seien genannt: insbesondere Pankreastryptase, ferner auch Schimmelpilzenzyme, Papain o. dgl. Vorteilhaft setzt man auch noch Amylasen und Lipasen zu bzw. wählt Enzympräparate, die alle drei genannten Enzyme enthalten. Es können auch geeignete Aktivatoren für die Enzyme sowie Schutzkolloide zugegeben werden.
- Von trockenen Peroxyden oder Peroxydderivaten wären zu nennen: Natrium.percarbonat, Natliulmperborat, Natriumperoxyd, Anlagerungsverbindungen des Wasserstoffperoxyds., z. B. an Harnstoff u. dgl.
- Es mar überraschend, daß die eriîndungsgemäß zu kombinierenden Mittel sich nicht gegenseitig stören. Das erfindungsgemäße Mittel zeigt sogar eine besonders gute V Wirkung, die vielleicht darauf beruht, daß die tryptischen, eiweißlösenden Enzyme den Angriff auf die hochmolekularen Bestandteile des Schmutzes, z. B. Eiweißstoffe, einleiten, während die sauerstoffabgebenden Mittel die Abbaustoffe, z. B. Einweißhydrolysate, rasch bis zur Löslichkeit oxydieren.
- Beispiel Man mischt 64 Teile Natriumpercarbollat mit 32 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumcarbonat und 4 Teilen eines Pankreastryptasepräparates und benutzt die Mischung zum Reinigen von Zahnprothesen - durch Einlegen in eine wäßrige Lösung aus der Mischung.
- Die trockene Mischung hält sich besonders bei Abwesenheit von äußeren Einflüssen. z. B. Luftfeuchtigkeit, lange Zeit unver;indert. Auch bei stundenlangem Erhitzen auf 50 bis 55° nimmt die Wirksamkeit kaum ab.

- P A T E N T A N S P R U C H : Pulverförmiges haltbares Reinigungsmittel für Zähne und Zahnersatz, insbesondere Zahnprothesen, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an einem tryptischen, elweißlösenden Enzym und einem trockenen Peroxyd oder Peroxydderivat.
