Das auf irgendeine Weise hergestellte Carbonyleisen wird mit in Alkohol gelöstem Schellack zu einer Paste verrührt und daraus der Körper geformt, oder diese Paste wird in Form einer Schicht auf den Kolbenkern aufgebracht und danach gesintert.
