Verfahren zur Herstellung von Sehallplatten.
Metallbleche, insbesondere Aluminiumblech, bilden eine gute Grundlage für Tonschriftmassen aus Zelluloseesterlacken, die aber in besonderer Weise aufgebracht werden müssen, um eine vollkommene Haltbarkeit neben guter Klangwirkung und einem weichen und vollen Ton zu erhalten.
Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren besteht darin, dass das metallische Trägermaterial vor dem Aufbringen der Tonschriftmasse mit einer hauchdünnen Schicht eines andern metallischen Stoffes überzogen wird, der sowohl am Metall wie auch an der Tonsehriftmasse ausserordentlich fest haftet, so dass eine einheitliche Überdeckung der Metallplatte geschaffen wird, welche unverändert festhält.
Als hauchdünne Zwischenschicht wird z. B. Chrom verwendet. Hiedureh wird es möglich, auch billige Metalle von hoher Zähigkeit und Elastizität als Träger der Tonschriftmasse zu verwenden und den Vorteil des metallischen Charakters der Trägerschicht bis zur Tonschriftmasse zu wahren.
Der Tonschriftmasse selbst kann ausserordentlich feiner Metallstaub, z. B. Aluminiumstaub, Bronzestaub, zugesetzt werden, jedoch soll die Metallstanbmenge 6-8% der Tonschriftmasse nicht ilbersteigen.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Schallplatten mit metallischem Träger und einer vorzugsweise aus Zelluloseesterlacken bestehenden Tonrillenschicht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Träger vor dem Aufbringen des Tonrillenlackes mit einem hauchdünnen Überzug aus anderem Metall, wie z. B. Chrom, versehen wird.

The method according to the invention consists in that the metallic carrier material is coated with a wafer-thin layer of another metallic substance before the application of the clay writing compound, which adheres extremely firmly to both the metal and the clay writing compound, so that a uniform covering of the metal plate is created which remains unchanged.
As a wafer-thin intermediate layer z. B. Chromium is used. This also makes it possible to use cheap metals of high toughness and elasticity as a carrier for the tone writing material and to maintain the advantage of the metallic character of the carrier layer up to the tone writing material.
The tone font itself can be extremely fine metal dust, e.g. B. aluminum dust, bronze dust, but the amount of metal rod should not exceed 6-8% of the tone font mass.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for the production of records with a metallic carrier and a grooved layer, preferably consisting of cellulose ester lacquers, characterized in that the metallic carrier is coated with a very thin coating of other metal, such as, for. B. chrome is provided.
