Vibrating sieve The processing of ballast on vibrating sieves, in particular
then, when the gravel contains a lot of lean or clayey material, leaves a lot to be desired
left over. Lumps of clay and loam or other pieces of soft material, if they are the size
of the rock to be separated are conveyed out of the sieve with this. That
So preserved good is not pure.
tonige Gut vollkommen erweicht.
For this reason, it has already been suggested that the goods should be cleaned before processing
to subject it to a washing process in order to soften the loamy and clayey material and
partly to be separated in this way. However, treatment with water cannot
too long to be extended, at least not until this clayey or
clayey goods completely softened. As long as that is not the case, however, the loamy occurs
and clayey goods, as long as @ it has the size of the rock to be separated
the machine or perforations in the sieve cannot pass through and become with the rock
conveyed out of the sieve. So the rock is contaminated. The invention contributes to this
in a simple way by the fact that the vibrating screen .eine on its surface
A plurality of cutting edges arranged counter to the conveying direction. The cutting
are expediently in front of the perforations or meshes of the screen. A separate one
Embodiment is that. the cutting edges at their upper ends are acute-angled
and with these ends overlap the meshes or perforations.
liegen.
The drawing shows an embodiment of a vibrating screen according to the invention,
namely Fig. i a detail of a sieve in plan view, Fig. a a longitudinal section
by perforating the sieve on an enlarged scale. The vibrating sieve i has
in a known manner a plurality of, perforations z, which offset from one another
lie. A web 4 is arranged on the sieve, in front of each perforation,
whose longitudinal axis is parallel to the conveying direction of the sieve.
the
Crates are provided with cutting edges at the end opposite to the conveying direction.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the cutting edges run into an acute-angled Zakken at the top
q. which overlaps the perforation 2 lying in front of the web.
des Siebes ab.The height of the cutting edges depends on the stroke and the speed of movement
of the sieve.
As a result of the shaking movements, the material on the sieve is thrown upwards. While the hard material, namely the pure gravel, is thrown higher due to its low elasticity, the loamy and clayey material reaches a lower height due to its elasticity and, while floating, reaches the area of the cutting edges and tips of the webs 3 moving back against the conveying direction As a result, the clayey material is comminuted and finally falls through one of the perforations 2 . Since the cutting edges do not come into contact with the hard gravel thrown higher, their sharpness is not blunted by this material. What applies to loamy and clayey pieces also applies to gravel that is enclosed in clay, loam or other soft material. The conveying speed does not suffer in the least because the ballast does not come into contact with the cutting edges; the ejected gravel has a high degree of purity.
Conversely, the facility is of course also an advantage if there is
it is less about the extraction of pure gravel than the extraction of the clay
or clay. The yield in this case is considerably greater.
