Description
Electric discharge lamp or fluorescent tube with a filling Noble gases and mercury and a luminophore layer excited by the mercury radiation Addendum to patent 699,096 The invention is a further embodiment of the additional patent 699 o96 described electric discharge lamp or fluorescent tube. After this The atent is that caused by the mercury radiation of the discharge lamp or fluorescent tube stimulated luminophore layer made of cadmium phosphate activated with manganese to increase added cadmium chloride to the light output, so that a cadmium chlorophosphate is formed. This reddish phosphor is used in conjunction with the visible radiation a whitish mixed light of warm, i.e. reddish hue is achieved. It was found that with the fluorescent substance of addendum patent 699o96 one of the natural Mixed light that comes very close to daylight can be achieved if that with manganese activated cadmium chlorophosphate magnesium and / or zinc tungstate in one for Production of the same luminous flux proportions of the phosphate and tungstate is sufficient Amounts is added. Not only is the color impression, but also diu, spectral Energy distribution largely adapted to daylight, similar to the known ones Light tubes with carbon dioxide filling. This differs from this themselves naturally a discharge lamp or fluorescent tube with the phosphor mixture according to the invention by the much higher light output, which the light exploiter of the individual Phosphor components are not inferior.
The good daylight-like mixed color is not impaired, if the cadmium chlorophosphate activated with manganese to increase the afterglow time Vanadium, e.g. B. in the form of vanadium pentoxide is added, as in one Another additional patent to patent 699o96, namely patent 697 395, is described.
If it is necessary to bend the arc tube after the phosphor layer has been applied, it is advisable to replace some of the cadmium chlorophosphate with zinc beryllium silicate, which has a reddish luminescence due to its content of 1.5 to 3010 manganese. This partial replacement of the cadmium chlorophosphate greatly reduces its solubility in the softened glass, while on the other hand the mixed light color is not significantly changed, provided that the zinc beryllium silicate content does not equal or exceed the phosphate content.
