Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur elektrischen Widerstandsbuckel'-schweißung. Es ist bereits bekannt, dickere Bleche, flache Schmiedestücke o. dgl, mit ähnlichen Konstruktionsteilen ' mit Hilfe der elektrischen Widerstandsbuckelschweißung zu befestigen. Bei dieser bekannten Buckelschweißung wird so vorgegangen, daß eines oder beide der zu verschweißenden Teile vor dem Verschweißen mit Ausbeulungen versehen werden, mit denen die zu verbindenden Teile zu Beginn des Schweißvorganges aneinander zu liegen kommen. Diese Ausbeulungen! bilden Übergangsstellen für den Schweißstrom. Die Ausbeulungen werden in der Schweißmaschine zunächst unter geringem Elektrodendruck vorgewärmt und nach Erzielung genügender Schweißhitze unter Verschweißen mit erhöhtem Druck flächenglatt gedrückt. Diese Befestigungsart hat aber nicht durchweg befriedigt, da vielfach nach längerem Gebrauch Anrisse in der. geschweißten Naht aufgetreten sind.The invention relates to a method for electrical resistance projection welding.
