Description
Verfahren zum Innenverzinken von Rohren aus Stahl oder Eisen Es ist in vielen Fällen unnötig bzw.unerwünscht. Rohre aus Eisen oder Stahl beiderseitig zu verzinken. Dies trifft z. B. zu bei a11 den Rohren, die als Wasserleitungsrohre unter Putz verlegt werden. Da diese Rohre außen keinem Angriff ausgesetzt sind, genügt es vollständig, wenn diese Rohre nur innen verzinkt sind. Man hat nun schon auf die verschiedenste Art versucht, eine einseitige Verzinkung zu erreichen, aber allen diesen Verfahren haften erhebliche Mängel an. Bringt man z. B. eine dicke feste Schicht eines aufschlämmbaren Stoffes auf, so besteht die Gefahr, daß die Schicht .infolge ihrer geringen mechanischen Festigkeit beim Transport beschädigt wird oder bei Einführen in das Zinkbad infolge der auftretenden Wärmespannungen abplatzt und dem Zink den Zutritt zu dieser Stelle gestattet. Es ist ferner bekannt, auf zu verzinkende Gegenstände nach vorhergehendem Beizen und Wässern einen wasserlöslichen, hochsiedenden Alkohol, z. B. Glycerin, aufzubringen, die Gegenstände auf Temperaturen zwischen äoo und 3oo° C zii erhitzen, an den zu verzinkenden Stellen mit einem Flußmittel zu belegen und dann .in das Zinkbad zu tauchen. Bei diesem Verfahren wird jedoch ein hochwertiger Kohlenwasserstoff verbraucht; wodurch das Verfahren für den Großbetrieb unwirtschaftlich wird. Es ist auch vorgeschlagen worden, die Röhre an der einen Seite mit einer Kappe zu verschließen, an der anderen Seite mit einem Trichter zu versehen und dann nach Erwärmen auf Verzinkungstemperatur mit Zink zu füllen. Für spezielle Fälle ist ferner vorgeschlagen worden, das Zink durch Abbeizen wieder zu beseitigen.
