Description

B. Halogen, Alkyl-, Acyl-, Keto- usw. Gruppen, enthalten. . Plasticizer for thermoplastic high molecular weight compounds It was found that the cyclohexyaier- ten naphthalenes good Weidrnacher- for them various thermoplastic. high mole kular connections - and those from them represent available art masses. These by condensation of naphthalene with cyclo- hexanol. or alkylcyrlohexanols available Bodies can still have substituents, such as B. Halogen, alkyl, acyl, keto, etc. groups, contain. Of the possible bonds are for example: Cyclo- hexylnaphtbalin, methylcyclohexyinaphthalene, Methylcycloacetonaphthalim, cyclohexylmethyl- naphthalene, cyclohexylchloromaphthalene, di- cyclohexylnaphthalene. You get along well with unite the high molecular weight substances without gus4uschwitzen; those created with them Artificial masses show good cold resistance speed. Her; Applicability is versatile; sow are equally for cellulose derivatives such as for the high polymer vinyl compounds, z. B. polyvinyl chloride, also for polystyrene., Polyacrylic acid esters as well as their mixed polymeris, ate usable. Compared to the plasticizer The beat Benzyhzaphthalin stand out cyclqhexylated naphthalenes by improved cold resistance. Example i Polyvinyl chloride is riding 400.10 methyl cyclohexylnapht'halin or cyclohexylnaph- thalim. rolled at 155 to 160 °. The received skins are characterized by their resistance to cold dignity (- 15 ') and good electrical properties from. Example 2 Eiur. Mixed polymer made of polyvinyl chlori: d and acrylic acid ester is with 3o to 3 @ 5 parts of methylcyclohexylmaphtha.lin 100 to 12o ° C rolled. One receives a .color- loose fur of good elasticity. Example 3 In one for the dissolving of cellulose, acetate, suitable solvents are added next 25 parts of methylcyclohexylnaphthalene and then dissolved 100 parts of cellulose acetate. After this. Pouring onto a flat surface and evaporation of the solvent gives a film of very good mechanical strength, elongation and: water resistance.
