Centrifugal ball mill The invention relates to a centrifugal ball mill
with the supply of the air stream loaded with grist in a centered to the vertical
Distribution funnel mounted on the mill axis. The peculiarity of the present ball mill
consists in that above the grinding track for removing the dust and grit laden
Air flow a guide funnel and before its outlet a baffle cone inside
a sifter installed directly above the mill and that outside
of the guide funnel between this and the classifier housing one of the buoyant
Air flow is not formed, crossed collecting space for the grits, to the
Connect outlets closed with flaps to your spherical space.
beladenen Luftstrom an.
In order to make the advantages of this new overall arrangement over the previous ball mills understandable, an embodiment will first be explained with reference to the drawing. With a the grinding stock feed hopper is designated, with b the dispensing device for the grinding stock, with c the feed pipe for the mixture "of grinding stock and conveying air (or conveying gas; which can consist of hot exhaust gases, for example). In the ball mill itself, which simultaneously forms the safety device in its upper part, d represents the centrally arranged distribution funnel, into which the feed line e opens. At the lower end of this distribution funnel sits the telescope-like displaceable pipe section for setting the outlet cross-section or the speed for ground material and conveying air the grinding balls and with g the grinding path in which the balls circulate. Furthermore, a guide funnel is arranged above the distribution funnel, from which the air flow rising from the ball path, laden with dust and grit, is thrown against the baffle cone. This is enclosed in front 'the sifter housing i, the down 7u outside of the guide line ters forms a not swept by the air flow collecting chamber 'for the oversize material from which they are fed by movable flaps way the ball space again. Above the impact cone h, the discharge line for the dust-laden air stream connects to the upper end of the sifter. The ground material fed from the feed hopper via the metering device b of the conveyor line c arrives with the conveyor air in the distribution hopper d; from which both emerge at an adjustable speed in the direction of the grinding path. While the coarse ground material is thrown directly into the grinding path due to its living force and is crushed by the balls, the air stream bent upwards takes the finely ground material with it and carries it into the classifier arranged above the grinding path, in which through the baffle cone k pursues the separation into dust and grit. The air laden with dust passes through line l into the dust separator n, from which, after the dust has been separated, the conveying air is wholly or partly again fed to the conveying line c by the fan v.
Sie liefert also schon grießfreien Staub. The arrangement of a ball or roller mill with a distribution funnel for the air laden with grist, which is arranged in the center of the mill axis, is known per se. However, the known arrangement lacks the sifting into dust and grit directly connected to the grinding process (through the sifter with impact cone built over the grinding path) and the return of the grit into the grinding path. The pre- treatment of the air provided in both known arrangements, in order to separate it from the ground material beforehand as far as possible, cannot prevent the air flow escaping from the mill from extracting not only dust but also grit, which is then separated out separate sifter would be necessary. According to the invention, such a classifier is organically built into the mill. So it already delivers grit-free dust.
Also the separation of dust and grit by .a baffle cone, the
is washed around by the dust-laden air, while the semolina sinking downwards
to be returned to the mill is known per se. But in the
known arrangement the baffle cone with the air flow to be sifted and the grist
even fed in uncrushed, which together with the semolina are only then separated into the
arranged mill arrives. This design is superior to that of the invention in that
that firstly the impact cone from the increased wear and tear by the uncomminuted
Grist is conserved and, secondly, thanks to the organic assembly of mill and classifier
Space and building material are saved.
