Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Band- und Schnurführer für Nähmaschinen zum Einfassen von Schuhwerk u. dergl., welcher sich an jeder vorhandenen Maschine nach Abschrauben der kleinen, über dem Schiffchenraum liegenden Deckplatte x, Fig. 1 und 2, leicht an deren Stelle mittelst derselben Schraube χ¹ befestigen läfst. Ferner ist auf der Platte ρ in dem Schraubloch p* der eigentliche Band- und Schnurführer befestigt, und zwar einstell-, bar mittelst der durch einen Schlitz b² gehenden Schraube έ¹; derselbe besteht aus dem eigenthümlich geformten Stahlstück b und zeigt Fig· 13 die obere Ansicht, Fig. 12 die Ansicht in Richtung des Pfeiles y, Fig. 14 die Ansicht in Richtung des Pfeiles y^l, während Fig. 4, 5 und 6 bis 9 die Stellung auf Platte ρ veranschaulichen. Das Stück b besizt einen eigenthümlich gestalteten, · hufeisenförmigen Spalt c, durch den das Einfafsband m' gezogen und in die gleichermafsen gestaltete Rille e, Fig. 5, 12 und 14, gelegt wird, um auf diese Weise umgeschlagen zu werden, wie aus Fig. 5 ersichtlich. Das Stück b besitzt ferner angelöthet eine Kappe a, Fig. 5, 8, 9 und 13; in derselben liegt, durch Stift a¹ geführt, ein Druckplättchen a², welches von der Feder a^a seitlich gegen den Fufs <z⁴ der Kappe α gedruckt wird.
