Der neue Stoffdrücker besitzt eine Verbesserung, welche ihn befähigt, auch beim Ueberschreiten von Säumen oder beim Uebergang von einer Stoffdicke" zur anderen, sowie bei Unregelmäfsigkeiten aller Art den Stoff fest auf seiner Unterlage zu halten und so einem Brechen der Nadel vorzubeugen. In gleicher Weise wird das Fallenlassen von Stichen damit verhindert.
