Description

  • Kältemittel für Kompressionskältemaschinen Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von Trifluoracebon (C F3 # C O # C Hs) als Kältemittel für Kompressionskältemaschinen. Wie Versuche gezeigt haben, ist Trifluoraceton in besonderem Maße für diesen Zweck geeignet, und zwar insbesondere dann, wenn es sich um Kompressionskältemaschinen handelt, die mit niedrigen Betriebsdrücken arbeiten. Die gute Eignung als Kältemittel beruht im wesentlichen darauf, daß Trifluoraceton bereits bei 22'C siedet und ein spez. Gewicht von etwa 1,29 besitzt. Es vermischt sich nicht mit den Schmierölen, die bei den Kompressionskältemaschinen zur Schmierung der Umlaufteile erforderlich sind, und es ist verhältnismäßig schwer entflanunbar. Trifluoraceton ist ferner nicht giftig und hat einen milden angenehmen Geruch. Diese Eigenschaften machen es für die Verwendung als Kältemittel für Kompressionskältemaschinen in besonderem Maße geeignet.
