Description
Process for the preparation of chromium compounds of dyes animal fibers and leather The subject of patent 586 i8o is a process for Manufacture of chromium compounds of dyes, in which chromium compounds can be chromed, Azo dyes containing sulfonic acid groups with sulfonic acid and amino groups, dyes of the triarylmethane or xanthene series which are free of chromable groups implemented. These chromium compounds can be produced in such a way that that the components mentioned are heated together in solution for some time and the resulting new compound is deposited in the usual way by adding table salt. They can also be produced in the dyebath by dyeing with a mixture of the components or treat the fibers to be dyed one after the other with the two components.
It has now been found that valuable chromium compounds can be obtained from dyes on animal fibers such as wool, ordinary or difficult silk and leather, can be produced if these sulfonic acid groups can be chromated with chromium compounds containing azo dyes and thereon containing amino groups, of chromable Dyes of the xanthene or triarylmethane series which are free from groups and sulfonic acid groups colors or proceeds in reverse order.
Geeignete Farbstoffe der Xanthen- bzw. Triarylmethanreihe sind z. B. Rhodamin B extra (S c h u 1 t z, Farbstofftabellen; 7. Auflage, Nr. 86q.), Rhodamin 6 G (1. c., Nr. 866), bzw. Diamantgrün G (1. c., Nr. 76o), Viktoriablau B (1. c., Nr. 822) usw.Suitable dyes of the xanthene or triarylmethane series are, for. B. Rhodamine B extra (S c h u 1 t z, color tables; 7th edition, No. 86q.), Rhodamine 6 G (1. c., No. 866), or diamond green G (1. c., No. 76o), Victoria blue B (1. c., No. 822) etc.
Since the two components come together in an aqueous solution give insoluble pigments; which can no longer wind up, the production of the The chromium compounds described only take place on the fiber: one obtains uniform real colorations that are different from those using only chromium compounds dyeings produced by azo dyes with a much brighter one and distinguish it from a much purer shade. Compared to those under sole use of dyes of the xanthene or triarylmethane series manufactured The colorations produced in the manner described have a significant effect improved lightfastness.
The quantitative ratio between the representatives of the two classes of dye can vary within wide limits.
Example i 100 parts of wool are dyed in the usual manner in one Dyebath, the 7,000 parts of water and 0.62 parts of the chromium compound of the azo dye from diazotized 4-nitro-2-amino-i-oxybenzene-6-sulfonic acid and acet-. acetic anilide contains, with the addition of 10 parts sulfuric acid of 66 ° Be for 1112 hours Boiling temperature. The .gelb dyed goods are then in a second dye bath, the 7,000 parts water and 56 parts Rhodamine B extra (Schultz, color tables, 7. Edition, No. 86q.), Initially for 1112 hours with the addition of 50 parts 10% acetic acid colored at the boil and then added for another% hours heated by 2 parts of sulfuric acid of 66 ° Be. -You get a clear, luminous yellow-red color.
Wool is dyed in the manner described with 1,020 of the chromium compound of the azo dye from dianotized 4-nitro-2-amino-i-oxybenzene-6-sulfonic acid and i-Phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone and then with o.9 010 Rhodamine B extra, so obtained you get a uniform deep red color.
