Abstract
The structural element, comprises an insulation body with a pressure element running through same across the longitudinal extension. The pressure element comprises a flat bar (40) deformed at the ends into vertical arms forming integral pressure plates (41,42) which are to connect with the building walls. The flat bar fits with its flat side horizontally into the insulation body. The pressure element can have a first bend in one direction followed by a further bend in the opposite direction which then forms the pressure plate.
