Abstract

The connecting element for a cantilever slab essentially consists of an insulating body made of foamed plastic. The element forms a thermal-insulating bridge between the building and the externally located cantilever slab. The slab is penetrated by a plurality of reinforcing bars which are arranged at different intervals from case to case, according to the static load. In order that a common insulating body (1) can nevertheless be used, it is provided with a number of slots (13) which are penetrated by the reinforcing bars (7). For insulating sealing, the remaining openings between the reinforcing bars are filled by means of intermediate pieces (2) and endpieces (3). The slab, the intermediate pieces and the end pieces are provided with semi-circular grooves which form passage openings for the reinforcing bars. <IMAGE>
