Walzenkalibrierung für Stopfenwalzwerke Die Erfindung betrifft eine Erweiterung des im Patent 575 529 enthaltenen Gedankens, bei Walzenkalibern für Pilgerwalzwerke neben den bekannten Sprung- und Arbeitszonen noch besondere öffnungs- oder Ausgleichzonen anzuordnen, um die Streckvorgänge im Kaliber möglichst auszugleichen. Es ist im Hauptpatent ausgeführt worden, daß es mit Hilfe der neuartig gestalteten Kaliber möglich ist, die Wandstärken unter das bisher übliche Maß zu verringern und weiterhin trotz stärkerer Abnahme die Materialbeanspruchung während des Walzvorganges zu vermindern. Da insbesondere bei Stopfenwalzwerken, den sogenannten Schwedenwalzwerken, nach Möglichkeit eine lange Bearbeitungszeit vermieden werden muß, um die Abkühlung des Materials je Stich gering zu halten, wird vorgeschlagen, den Gedanken des Hauptpatents bei den Kalibern von Stopfenwalzwerken anzuwenden, also auch bei diesen neben den bekannten Sprung- und Arbeitszonen besondere Öffnungszonen vorzusehen.
