Verfahren zum Nachbehandeln von Garn, insbesondere von hart gedrehten Kreppgarnen, durch Dämpfen und Befeuchten auf Tragbändern Die Erfindung richtet sich auf ein Verfahren zum Nachbehandeln von Garn, insbesondere von hart gedrehten Kreppgarnen. Es ist bekannt, das Garn durch Dämpfen und Befeuchten zu behandeln. Das Dämpfen wurde bisher in Apparaten, z. B. Dämpfkästen u. dgl., vorgenommen, die von der Befeuchtungsvorrichtung getrennt angeordnet waren. Die Befeuchtungsvorrichtung besteht dabei beispielsweise aus einer Maschine mit einem Förderband, welches die Garnspulen an einer oder mehreren Befeuchtungsvorrichtungen vorbeiführt. Die Behandlung des Garns in der Dämpfvorrichtung erfordert einen erheblichen Zeitaufwand, der oft r oder sogar 2 Stunden in Anspruch nimmt. Die getrennte Behandlung der Garnspulen auf zwei verschiedenen Vorrichtungen bringt außerdem den Nachteil mit sich, daß doppelte Bedienung vorhanden sein muß.
