Dieser Saugkorb besteht aus dem cylindrischen, mit flachem Boden versehenen Behälter a,
welcher mit Löchern versehen ist, wodurch das Wasser aus dem Schacht zu dem Saugrohr
der Pumpe gelangen kann (s. Fig. 1 und 2). Im Innern dieses Behälters α steht ein cylindrisches
Rohr b, welches bis auf eine gewisse Höhe vom Boden des Behälters α geführt ist.
Während nun bei den gewöhnlichen Saugkörben ein regelmäfsiger Betrieb der Pumpen
nur dann möglich ist, wenn der ganze Saugkorb im Wasser liegt, wie die Fig. 3 zeigt,
wird bei dieser Einrichtung erzielt, dafs der Wasserspiegel im Schacht bis zum tiefsten
Punkte des Rohres b sinken und doch die Pumpe noch regelmäfsig arbeiten kann (s. Fig. 4).
Sollte aber der Wasserspiegel so hoch steigen, dafs der ganze Saugkorb im Wasser liegt, so
tritt das Wasser durch die Löcher des Behälters α in denselben und steigt in das Rohr b.
Es arbeitet hiernach die Pumpe niemals mit Luft, wodurch das lästige Schnarchen und
Schlagen der Ventile aufhört, und es wird der Wasserspiegel auf der Schachtsohle bis auf eine
Höhe von etwa 20 cm abgesaugt, so dafs für die Schachthauer ein regelmäfsigeres Arbeiten
erzielt wird.This strainer consists of the cylindrical, flat-bottomed container a, which is provided with holes, whereby the water can get from the shaft to the suction pipe of the pump (see Fig. 1 and 2). In the interior of this container α is a cylindrical tube b, which is guided up to a certain height from the bottom of the container α. While a more regular operation of the pumps is now at the ordinary suction strainers only possible when all the suction strainer is in the water, as shown in FIG. 3, is achieved in this apparatus, the water level of DAF in the shaft to the lowest points of the pipe b sink and yet the pump can still work regularly (see Fig. 4). But if the water level rises so high that the entire suction strainer is in the water, the water passes through the holes in the container α and rises into the tube b. After this the pump never works with air, which stops the annoying snoring and beating of the valves, and the water level on the bottom of the shaft is sucked off to a height of about 20 cm, so that more regular work is achieved for the shaft wall.
