Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun ein Verfahren zur Reinigung von Filtern, bei wel-. chen ■ das Filtermaterial in bekannter Weise in einem mit Siebböden versehenen, in einer Ummantelung kolbenartig hin und her bewegbaren Zylinder untergebracht ist, und zwar besteht das Verfahren darin, daß zwecks Reinigung des Filtermaterials beim Auf- und Niedergang des mit dem Filtermaterial gefüllten Zylinders die Waschflüssigkeit angesaugt, entgegengesetzt der Filtrationsrichtung von unten nach oben durch das Filtermaterial stoßweise hindurchgeführt wird und die Verunreinigungen nach oben abgeführt werden.The invention now relates to a method for cleaning filters in which wel-. Der Zylinder a mit Filtermaterial wird zum Zweck der Reinigung in einer geschlossenen Ummantelung d nach Art eines Pumpenkolbens aufwärts und abwärts bewegt, wobei durch an der Ummantelung d angeordnete Saugventile oder Klappen e die Waschflüssigkeit zunächst beim Hochgang angesaugt, beim Niedergang darauf durch das Filtermaterial in α hindurchgepreßt und beim folgenden Hochgang schließlich durch an der Ummantelung d angeordnete Druckventile oder Klappen f nach außen gepreßt wird. Die Waschflüssigkeit wird dem Saugventil e der Ummantelung unter so hohem Druck zugeführt, daß das Saugventil in dem Maße entlastet ist, daß ein Rückströmen der Waschflüssigkeit durch die Filtermaterialien im Zylinder a in gewünschtem Grade vermieden wird. Durch die Abdichtung g wird die Ummantelung d in Saug- und Druckraum getrennt. Der Zylinder α wird durch bekannte, an der Spindel h angreifende Organe, z. B. Kurbelwelle, Exzenter, Zahngetriebe, auf- und abwärts bewegt. Das Eigengewicht des Zylinders α zuzüglich des Gewichtes der Filtermaterialien wird durch auf der Kurbel- oder Exzenterwelle aufgekeilte Schwungräder ausgeglichen, so daß nur der Durchflußwiderstand zu überwinden ist.The device used to carry out the method is illustrated in the drawing in a vertical section through the filter.
