Process for the preparation of concentrated and durable solutions of
C-alkyl resorcines The C-alkyl resorcines known for their disinfecting power
are difficult to dissolve in water, which makes their practical use very difficult.
lassen. Eine derartige Lösung entsteht z. B., wenn man i Teil Hexylresorcin in 2
It has now been found that aqueous solutions of high concentration can be used
can easily be produced by adding alkali salts of bile acids to the water.
So z. B. r part of hexylresorcinol already by 0.5 parts of an io ° loiöen solution
dissolved by sodium deoxycholate or by 5 parts of an i% solution of cholate.
If one chooses a slightly larger amount of the solution of the bile salts, then one obtains
one can easily get about 35% solutions of hexylresorcinol, which are diluted indefinitely
permit. Such a solution arises, for. B., if one part of hexylresorcinol in 2
Parts of 20% sodium dehydrocholate solution absorbs. The amount of cholate required
represents, as can be seen from the above figures, only a fraction of the resorcinol used
before.
Will man daher haltbare
In Betracht kommen
daher in erster Linie anorganische Stoffe, wie z. B. Natriumbisulfit, Kaliummetabisulfit
u. dgl.
The same phenomena show up when using others in water
poorly soluble alkyl resorcinols as well as their core substitution products, e.g.
B. the C-Alkylhalogenresorcine. (The term alkylresorcinols also includes those
with unsaturated radicals, such as. B. Allylresorcin, understood.) The one described

The solution of the alkylresorcinols can also be accomplished in the manner
