Description
Die Schwierigkeiten bei der Ansteuerung der Signalanlage beruhen in der Erfüllung folgender Bedingungen:Some railway administrations see themselves with the increasing car traffic lately forced to attach devices at the crossings through which oncoming Cars and the like are made aware when a train is approaching. Facilities are known become, in which, when the train comes to a crossroads at about 300 m, Flashing signals, alarm bells or the like are activated. Until now The devices used have the disadvantage that they are either very are complicated and require many relays or that they do not meet all operating conditions correspond. There are particular difficulties with the activation and deactivation of signals. You need special relays, which are controlled by contacts anao. The contacts can be both be designed as rail contacts as well as overhead contact lines. the Difficulties in controlling the signal system are based on the fulfillment of the following Conditions:
The signaling device must be used for both single-track and double-track lines work properly, d. H. she has to work even when two trains are on both tracks are at the same time within the warning zone. In addition, the track system must be in be driven in the opposite direction without causing the signal system in disorder is brought.
Even those institutions that carry out this task meet, have become known, but the same are not suitable for electrical Railways where, for the sake of simplicity, the contact wire voltage is used for signaling shall be. The high voltage used in electric railways is essential for the system to work reliably achieve the simplest possible arrangement in which the number of relays and series resistors is reduced to the lowest possible level. An arrangement has already been proposed in which the for Signaling used incandescent lamps as series resistors can also be used for relays. However, this has the disadvantage that the arrangement when using flashing light is excluded, since the lamp circuit is continuously interrupted, so that the relays drop out again and again. In addition, the use of the lamps as a series resistor has the disadvantage that the designer in the training of the relays and the use of suitable lamp types is no longer free.
Die Erfindung betrifft nun eine Eisenbahn-Überwegsicherung für beliebig viele, in beliebiger Richtung befahrbare Gleise, wobei für jedes Gleis ein einziges Relais vorgesehen ist, das vom ankommenden Zuge angesteuert wird, und unabhängig davon, welches Relais anspricht, mittels der Relaisanker ein und dieselben Warnzeichen am Überweg eingeschaltet werden; sie besteht darin, daß dasThe invention now relates to a railway crossing protection for any number, in any Direction of passable tracks, with a single relay provided for each track that is controlled by the incoming train, and regardless of which relay responds, switched on by means of the relay armature one and the same warning signs on the crossing will; it consists in that
jeweilig durch Streckenkontakte angesteuerte Relais beim Ansprechen sich über einenrelays controlled by line contacts when responding via a
Resistance switches to self-feeding and remains in effect until the relay coil is exited of the crossing via track contacts is short-circuited by the train, so that the relay drops out and the warning signs except Operation.
In the figure, an embodiment of the invention is shown, for a double-track line. Let the two contact wires be denoted by a x and a 2 and the two relays used in the present case with b x and b 2, respectively. Assume that an electric vehicle drives the route Ct 1 arriving from the left. First of all, its bracket will touch both the catenary and the catenary contact C x , which is intended as a drain wire. However, since the live drain wire has no connection whatsoever with the relay coils b when the relay has dropped out, no change will occur. The bracket of the vehicle then comes into contact with the catenary contact d x. Current can now flow from d x via the line e x , via the contact bridge f, the line g, via the relay coil b x and via the resistor h to the ground. The relay will now jump.
The contact bridge / interrupts the current flowing from e x to line g. The relay b x can, however, hold itself in the jumped state, since voltage can now reach the relay coil b x via the line /, via the series resistor k, via the contact bridge /, the line g. The additional upstream resistor k ensures that the heating of the relay coil remains within permissible limits. The relay b x that has jumped closes with its contact bridge / a circuit which, coming from the line j , leads over the contact bridge / to the line m . From this line m it goes on the one hand to an electromagnet n, the armature of which can oscillate back and forth and executes these oscillating movements in the manner of a Wagnerian hammer through continuous current pulses that it receives through contact 0. During this oscillating movement of the armature, the lamp groups p x and p 2 are switched on alternately, so that these two lamp groups flash continuously. These lamp groups are arranged in such a way that arriving vehicles are made aware of the approach of a train to the crossroads. In addition, if desired, a bell q can be made to sound while the magnet is working. It should be mentioned, however, that this signal system is not part of the subject matter of the invention, so that any other signal system which z. B. works according to other principles, can be used.
If the train has passed the crossroads, contact d 2 is touched. Since the relay b x has already jumped, nothing will change in its state. Only when the contact C 2 is touched by the bracket, the relay coil is short-circuited via the line T 1 and the contact bridge s, so that no more current flows through them, so the relay drops out. If, for whatever reason, the route is traveled in reverse order, there will be no change in appearance and the signaling system will not be disordered, as is the case with some systems. If the line is two-pronged, it is useful to arrange a second relay b s , which is controlled by corresponding contacts on the contact wire a 2 , but it is ensured that both the relay b x and the relay b 2 by virtue of the contact bridges / on a common warning device work. It should also be mentioned that if the train only travels in one direction on a track, the contacts c x and d 2 can be omitted.
