Description

Process for generating luminous characters at night Sky by means of airplanes It is known to generate characters in the sky by that an aircraft emitting smoke-producing substances characters on the Heaven writes. These characters are either used for military purposes (as Morse code) or for civil purposes (as advertising font). Significant More impressive than writing in the daytime sky is writing in luminous letters in the night sky, only until now there has been an appropriate procedure for this purpose absent. According to the invention, such luminous characters can be produced by that the writing plane does not emit clouds of fog, but rather dust or tinsel highly reflective or refractive materials. Aluminum dust was found to be suitable for this or aluminum tinsel found. Since such advertisements only fly in the night sky over large cities come into question, the light reflection of the city lighting is sufficient on the shiny metal surfaces, around which the writing stands out as luminous wool to let the night sky take off. The effect can still be significant reinforce that the lettering from the ground or another aircraft by means of Headlights are irradiated in white or colored light. As a device for the usual devices can be used to expel the dust clouds, how they z. B. used for pest control to expel calcium arsenate will.

In cases where there is no possibility of reflection, but rather the characters themselves must be luminous can be a solution according to the invention of white phosphorus in oil can be used. However, this solution must be through atomizing nozzles be brought into fine droplet form. At the contact surface of the droplets with In the air there is a slow oxidation of the phosphorus, so that a distinct visible glow occurs. Can be used as an atomizer for the oil liquid the known atomizer nozzles are used.
