Description
Si, (Co, Nji)2 Si, (Co, Fe)2 S', Co Ni Si, Co Nil S', Co Nil S' usw. Die Legierungen können auch noch weitere Bestandteile, wie Zinn, Zink, Aluminium, Magnesium, Arsen, Antimon, Phosphor, Bor, Zirkon, Blei, Cadmium, Thallium, sowie Alkali- und Erdalkalimetalle enthalten.Copper-cobalt-silicon alloys The invention relates to alloys based on copper, cobalt, silicon, in which the cobalt is also replaced by other metals such as iron, chromium, titanium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, manganese and nickel (the latter only in the absence of iron), can be replaced in whole or in part. The ratio of cobalt or its substitute metals to silicon is expediently such as is calculated according to stoichiometric ratios, e.g. B. according to the formulas Co, Si, Ni? Si, (Co, Nji) 2 Si, (Co, Fe) 2 S ', Co Ni Si, Co Nil S', Co Nil S 'etc. The alloys can also contain other components such as tin, zinc, aluminum, magnesium , Arsenic, antimony, phosphorus, boron, zirconium, lead, cadmium, thallium, as well as alkali and alkaline earth metals.
It has now been found that the silicon in this triple bond can also be partially replaced by beryllium. The silicon content in these alloys is approximately between 0.5 and 3 ″. If it is now partially replaced according to the invention, an alloy containing 2.5 ″ beryllium, 0.5 ″ results, for example / "Silicon, i 0 /" iron, 0.5 ° / "cobalt, 2 0 /" zinc, o, z ° j "contains cadmium. Freshly cast, such an alloy has a tensile strength of .1i.6 kg / mm2 and an elongation of q.2 0 / ", properties that make it a very excellent bronze; Heat tempered in the usual way, the tensile strength increases to 65.8 kg / mm2, while the elongation, however, drops to 0.2 Ω / ″.
If, on the other hand, the alloys contain 3 0 / "silicon, r 0 /" Iron, 0.50 / "cobalt, 2 0 /" zinc and 0.50 / "cadmium are obtained fresh cast condition strength values of about 25 kg / mm2 and in the hot tempered condition Strength values of about 30 The replacement of silicon by beryllium has one result in a significant improvement in strength.
