Der Farbstift ist aus zwei oder mehreren verschiedenen Farben, z. Wird nun mit einem solchen vielfarbigen Malstift die Zeichnung auf dem Stoff aufgetragen, so ergeben sich ganz willkürliche Farbeneffekte, die teils als Schattierungen und teils als Konturen in Erscheinung treten und infolge der kontrastreichen Zusammenstellung der Farben ein eigenartig künstlerisches Gesamtbild ergeben. Das Zeichnen mit diesem Stift ist dabei außerordentlich bequem, da schon eine kleine Drehung genügt, um einen Wechsel der Farben herbeizuführen, so daß sich z. B. eine Blume gleichzeitig in Blau und Rot ausführen läßt und je nach dem Druck, mit welchem das Auftragen erfolgt, mehrere Farbtöne erfaßt werden können. Auf eine bestimmte Handhabung braucht also nicht Rücksicht genommen zu werden, wodurch das Arbeiten wesentlich erleichtert und beschleunigt wird und keinerlei Abfall des Stiftes durch Spitzen entsteht. Die Muster lassen sich je nach Erfordernis teils flächig und teils konturenmäßig behandeln und in allen diesen Fällen ergibt sich eine stets wechselnde Farbgebung von künstlerisch hoher Eigenart.The colored pencil is made of two or more different colors, e.g. B. by casting, pressing o.
