Description
Process for the production of a military color grain grid. object of the invention is a method of making a multicolor grain screen for the nature color photography, the ii1 easy and inexpensive way to manufacture Allows uniform color schemes for mass runs, kilometer films, etc.
Only dissolved dyes are used to produce this color grid used, whereby each color effect beforehand exactly according to Spektros, Kopiscben, kol.orimetrisc@hen Principles can be coordinated.
On glass plates, films, rolls of film, paper or any other in question The coming pad is made using gelatin, glue, collodion or any other Colloid formed a colorless base as a color carrier. The coloring of this The color carrier is now carried out by atomizing a suitable solution an appropriate percentage of the color vehicle with a water-insoluble material, such as B. zapon lacquer, shellac solutions o. The like., Covered in the finest grain size distribution and then the parts not hit by the atomizer with a water-soluble one Dye bath can be colored. Subsequent pickling with ferric chloride, copper sulfate or the like the embedded dye is converted into a water-insoluble colored lacquer. The parts of the paint carrier covered by the atomizer are then washed out and bathed in a second water-soluble paint. Then there will be a third Dye solution applied by atomization in finest distribution on the dye carrier, which is absorbed by the two embedded colors and connects with them.
In the following, the method will be based on an exemplary embodiment be explained: The ink carrier runs through on an endless path with adjustable Speed of the nebulizer and becomes more appropriate in percentage terms Distribution with a zapon lacquer, shellac or other appropriate -water-insoluble solution dusted. Because the microscopic drops immediately dry, so can .the ink carrier - by means of another endless web immediately to the Coloring of the areas not hit by the atomizer with a bath from one methy 1 or patent blue color solution. This is followed by an iron chloride pickling bath, which the blue-colored grid elements - in a known manner in water-insoluble Color varnish converts. The grain reserves applied by the atomizer are then applied . Washed out and the reserved areas of the dye carrier by bathing in a -water-soluble cotton ponce color: fabric solution dyed red. The previously colored blue color has the property of iden. red dye, so that now the Base: the color carrier consists of blue and red grid elements. To After drying, the red bearer is sent back through the atomizer and with a thioflavin- or pinatypiegelb: en dye solution in finest distribution dusted. The yellow dye dissolving has the property of the places where they meet the blue in green and the red colored areas in red-orange To convert grid elements.
The grid obtained in this way now shows blue. green, red and red-orange Grid elements in the finest distribution without any defects. He can in Any light transmission required has to be made for film rolls required flexibility, since it has no order, but that of a paint carrier serving colorless base is even colored with clear dye solutions.
Deckt man z. The procedure can be handled differently, so could one z. B. dust up reserves twice and load three times. If you cover z. B. a percentage of the surface of the ink carrier that is soaked on, finite of a Zapon or similar solution by dusting and bathing the areas not hit by your atomizer with a methacrylate blue solution, etched with ferric chloride, washes the nerves and dusts up reserves again, bathes those not hit by your atomizer Make finite cotton ponceati red, stains like past, washes out the reserves and bathing with a mixture of patent blue and pinato yellow green, one obtains a grid with blue, red, and green grid elements.
Of course, the colors can also be in any other order and can be used in a different combination. Also can (read procedure can be expanded to any desired number of colors.
The method is not limited to water-soluble and water-insoluble Colors, any other solutions can be used that are not connect with the solution used for the reserves. Compared to the known Processes in which the reserves are made by printing have that Method has the advantage that it does not require any printing plates on any one Pad can be inserted and one useful for color photography results in an irregular grain grid.
