Description

Photochemisches Lackierverfahren. Photochemical painting process. Addendum to patent 447 5o6. By the patent 447 5o6 a photochemical painting process has become known, at the objects to be decorated with: an oil-soluble varnish, consisting of fossil Resins, synthetic resins, and aniline paints, coated, then exposed under a negative and then the unexposed areas are washed out with a mineral oil: With this method it can happen that the drawing to be applied, namely if it is a fine-line pattern, is not obtained in full clarity, if the lacquer base made of fibrous or porous material, e.g. B. wood. In this case, the dye-containing lacquer penetrates into the pores of the substrate and leaves the dye in the pores during development. So it will too in the unexposed areas that are pure white or of the same color as the base should result in a coloring, the strength of which depends entirely on how much dye has settled in the pores. The lines of the pattern will then become blurred and appear unclear.

This disadvantage is intended to be avoided according to the present invention be that one before the beginning of the process described in patent specification 447 5o6 Applying a colorless layer of lacquer to the object to be lacquered. This layer of varnish fills the pores of the wood and prevents penetration after drying Dye in the pores. A likewise medium is expediently used as the base layer Mineral oils-soluble varnish made from fossil resins and synthetic resins with no added color used, so that this lacquer layer is in the unexposed areas together with the colored lacquer layer can be washed out while they have become insoluble in the exposed areas Color lacquer is protected.

The method of the present invention now proceeds as follows The fact that the porous wooden object to be decorated is first coated with a colorless one Lacquer coating provides. Then a second coat of mineral oil-soluble paint is applied an addition of Aniaf colors applied and this layer exposed under a negative. If the object is now treated with mineral oils, the unexposed Make both the colorless and the colored paint washed out so that the Subsurface becomes freely visible. On the other hand, the colored lacquer is in the exposed areas as a result of the as. Sensitizer-acting dye has become insoluble, so that the pattern is clearly visible in the color of the second layer of lacquer. The composition of the varnish is the same as in the method according to patent 447 506.
