Cooling device The invention relates to a cooler for
Cooling a cold room, refrigerator or the like. The intended for this purpose
For the most part, coolers are designed in such a way that they are also storage tanks
for the cooling liquid cooled by a cooling machine or in some other way.
The cooler generally absorbs heat through its outer wall.
There are also coolers known that, in order to achieve greater heat absorption, with
Chimney-shaped openings are provided through which the air to be cooled passes.
The invention consists in a cooler provided with one or more chimneys,
in which it is achieved through special training of the chimney wall that at the beginning
the cooling, the walls of this chimney are cooled particularly quickly, so that
vigorous cooling and air circulation takes place in the room right at the beginning of the cooling process.
In addition, the brine supply of the cooler is cooled, so that a long-lasting
Storage effect is achieved. To achieve this, the chimneys are double-walled
executed. The liquid content of this double jacket surrounding the chimney is
cooled by a chiller. Since its heat capacity is relatively small,
this liquid quickly reaches a low temperature and causes a strong one
Cooling of the air in the chimney and thus a strong air circulation. It will
by this deep-freezing of the chimney walls of the air on the same their moisture
withdrawn. At the same time, through the outer wall of the double jacket
the cold liquid filling the rest of the radiator gradually cooled down and so on
achieved that the cold capacity of the entire brine content to keep the cold room cool
serves, but that the cooling of the room begins sooner and more lively than if at once
At the beginning of the cooling, the entire contents of the cooler would have to be cooled down.
Another advantage of this cooler arrangement is that to fill the
Chimney double jacket a different refrigerant liquid can be used than that for
Cold storage used. This can be particularly advantageous where there is circulation
through the refrigeration machine a certain coolant, z. B. glycerine, is necessary,
while for the storage a cold liquid of relatively high specific
Heat, e.g. B. Sole, is of greater benefit.
