des Trockengutes und dem gewünschten Grade der Trocknung. Um die Durchbrechungen
zu schaffen, kann die Außentrommel so ausgebildet werden, daß der Mantel teilweise
oder völlig fortgelassen wird, so daß der Außenmantel gleichsam aus zwei in einem
gewissen Abstand voneinander angeordneten, gleichachsigen Einzeltrommeln gebildet
wird. Zur Verbindung der Einzeltrommeln dienen zweckmäßig die zur Befestigung der
äußeren Schaufeln vorgesehenen Winkeleisen, die auf der Innenseite der Mäntel der
beiden Einzeltrommeln befestigt sind. In gewissen Fällen kann auch die Anordnung
von Siebteilen im Mantel der Außentrommel zweckmäßig sein, die den Durchtritt der
