Description

2. The method according to claim 1, characterized by the use the glycol ether, e.g. B. glycol monomethyl or monoethyl ether.

Claims (1)

B. Kieselsäuregel, in gleicher Weise anwendbar.Regeneration of used bleaching earth From bleaching earth that is used for refining mineral or fatty oils, earth wax or similar substances have been used are, as is well known, the adsorbed substances can be mixed with the previously used ones Extractants, such as gasoline, benzene or chlorinated hydrocarbons, only for Remove the smallest parts again. It does not succeed in this way, the used To extract bleaching earth in such a way that it can be renewed after the solvent has been removed can be used for refining. A procedure against this has become known by means of mixtures of alcohol, e.g. B. ethyl alcohol or acetone, with solvents, such as benzene, gasoline or the like, the used earth can be reused by extraction close. As has been found, one achieves with the solvent classes mentioned in the claim also an extraction of used bleaching earth to such an extent that the same their original effectiveness almost completely after removal of the solvent rebuilt. The glycol ethers have proven to be particularly suitable. at Applying this method one has all of the advantages of using a uniform Solvent with constant boiling point granted. The procedure is for both chemical treated or untreated natural bleaching earth as well as artificially produced Refining agents, e.g. B. silica gel, applicable in the same way. The method described has mixed extractants prior to use (Alcohol and benzene), as used by G u r -witsch for the regeneration of used bleaching earth suggested the preference of working with a chemically uniform body, the one constant you who owns the point and who does not stand in the distillation segregated. Another method, bleaching earth by an annealing process with access from Regenerating air could not be implemented in practice, since this would involve the Effectiveness of the bleaching earth is largely lost through a structural change. Method of regeneration used bleaching earth, characterized in that the earth is mixed with solvents extracted, which in their molecule at the same time free alcohol or ketone groups and Contain ether or ester groups.
