Description

Method of briquetting fuels using fuels With different baking and swelling properties It is known that fuels -with different Baking properties to be heated in mixtures and when baking occurs the bakable Briquetting substances. With these methods it is difficult to control the heat and to regulate the pressure treatment so that a uniform baking effect in the mixture begins before pressure treatment. The present invention overcomes these difficulties Fixed. The invention consists in the mixed fuels to be processed with opposite or different puffing or baking properties before mixing are heated separately in such a way that the expandable and bakable fuels are close or up to the limit of the incipient baking ability, those that are not or only weakly bakable Fuels, however, are heated so high that the mixture to be briquetted Preheated fuels above the expansion temperature of the baked and expandable coal is heated. The non-baking or only weakly baking fuels can be used the mixing with the baking fuels are heated so high that the palpable Heat from the non-baking fuels during the mixing of the fuels the incoming heat equalization brings about baking of the bakable fuels. After mixing, during the softening period of the baking fuels the fuel mixture can be treated by means of pressure. Mixing or the pressure treatment of the fuels or both together can be done in rooms with deliberately adjustable wall temperatures are made. The caked The end product can be placed in special devices so that its strength is further increased further thermally treated through its own heat or by supplying additional amounts of heat will.

Example 70o kg of lean coal are heated to a temperature of 600 ° C. and continuously mixed with 300 kg of puffy and baked fatty coal with a softening point of 375 ° C., which is heated to 300 ° C., and the mixture is continuously mixed after heat compensation has taken place briquetted. With a spec. Warmth of the two types of coal of 0.3 results in an average temperature of the mixture In order not to extract any heat from the fuel mixture during mixing and pressure treatment, mixing and pressure treatment are expediently carried out in rooms, the walls of which have a temperature of about 55o ° C. The baked-together end product is left in rooms with a wall temperature of 5 ° C for post-gasification and hardening and then cooled in suitable devices.
