Description
Verfahren zum Emaillieren von Gegenständen aus Eisen und anderen Stoffen, insbesondere von eisernen Badewannen Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Emaillieren von Gegenständen aus Eisen und anderen Stoffen, insbesondere von eisernen Badewannen u. dgl., durch Aufstreuen von Puderemail -irx. der Vorrichtung, in welcher der Gegenstand erhitzt wird. Bekanntlich unterscheidet man beim Ernaillierverfahren zwei grundsätzliche Ausführungsarten, und zwar einesteils mittels flüssiger Ernailmasse und andernteils mittels Aufstreuens von Puderemail auf die zu behandelnden Gegenstände. Bei Verwendung flüssiger Emailmasse muß erst ein Bestreichen und dann ein Trocknen stattfinden, worauf der Gegenstand in die Muffel gebracht und zum Einbrennen der Emailmasse erhitzt werden kann. Bei Verwendung von Pudereinail muß der Gegenstand zuerst in der Muffel auf die nötige Temperatur gebracht und dann aus der Muffel herausgenommen und in rotglühendern Zustande mit Puderemail bestreut werden. Dies Bestreuen läßt sich trotz Verwendung vonDreh-und Schwenktischen aber gewöhnlich nicht in einer Hitze bewirken, da das Aufstreuen nur auf die möglichst waagerechten Flächen erfolgen kann, und zwar auch nur so lange, wie der Gegenstand zum Festhalten des Puders noch eine gewisse Temperatur besitzt. Es muß daher insbesondere bei größeren Gegenständen ein mehrfaches Anwärmen stattfinden, was natürlich umständlich und zeitraubend ist.Process for enamelling objects made of iron and other materials, in particular of iron bathtubs.
