Patent. Ausführungsbeispiele für Celltiloseschicht i.
Process for the production of photomechanical colloid printing forms Addendum to patent 424570 The subject of patent 424 570 is a process for the production of photomechanical colloid printing forms in which a gelatinous mass is used as the elastic underlayer. It has now been found that, compared to this gelatinous mass, cellulose or cellulose derivatives, for example nitrocellulose, acetylcellulose, offer advantages with regard to the simplification of the printing plates, their durability and their resistance to the effects of pressure and temperature. The use happens instead in the mentioned patent 424,570 gelatin layer. According to the present method, a suitable printing substrate is provided with a layer of cellulose or cellulose derivatives - exemplary embodiments are mentioned below. Otherwise the treatment is the same as in the mentioned patent. Embodiments for cell silos layer i. As is known, cellulose dissolves in copper oxide ammonia and in zinc chloride, forming a viscous mass without changing. From a highly viscous copper oxide ammonia solution of pure cotton produced by a known process, the cellulose is precipitated again by precipitation with dilute acids, similar to the production of rayon. If the viscosity is suitably high, the cellulose can be obtained in leaf farms.
erhält man regenerierte Cellulose.
eintrocknen.z. Cellulose is made in a known manner with caustic soda and carbon disulfide
treated and precipitated with chlorammon or acids, etc. Through this precipitation
regenerated cellulose is obtained. Execution examples for cellulose derivatives
a) Nitrocellulose: Cotton is nitrated with nitric sulfuric acid and carefully
washed out and dried nitrocellulose in a mixture of ether and alcohol
solved. To obtain the collodion skin, the thick liquid is left on plates
dry up.
der auf Platten ausgestrichenen Flüssigkeit.b) Acetylcellulose: For the production of acetylcellulose, according to
known regulations cotton with acetic anhydride
and little
Sulfuric acid reacted. The acetyl cellulose is precipitated with water
and dried. This product is in a blend of organic. Solvents
(e.g. benzene, alcohol, acetose and amyl alcohol) soluble with the formation of a highly viscous
Liquid. The layer is produced again by letting it dry out
the liquid spread on plates.
