In der Endstellung angekommen., entweicht die Druckluft aus dem Zylinder durch die Steuerschlitze m in der hohlen Kolbenstange p ins Freie. Die Tür steht offen, bis der Führer auf der Lokomotive mittels seines Ventilhahns Druckluft durch die Leitung n auf die andere Seite des Kolbens strömen läßt und in der gleichen Weise, wie oben beschrieben, die Tür wieder schließt. Durch die federbelastete Klinked wird die Tür geschlossen gehalten.
