Der Erfindung gemäß dienen zur Vortrocknung mehrere im Abstande übereinanderliegende,

saugt Rauchgase vom Kessel an und drückt sie durch die Kammer g in und um das im
Korb b liegende Müll. Von da treten die Gase um den Korb a herum, sammeln sich an
dem Austrittsstutzen h und werden ins Freie geleitet. Der Betrieb geht so vor sich,
daß man den Korb b entleert und dadurch das Müll hinunter auf den Rost wirft. Sodann
wird der Inhalt des Korbes a in den Korb b gefüllt und der Korb a mit frischem
:Müll beschickt. Dieser Vorgang wiederholt sich alle ro bis 15 Minuten. Das Müll
'kommt dann stark vorgetrocknet auf die Bußeiserne Rutsche w und wird von dort durch
den Zubringer x auf -den waagerechten Oberteil i ';des Schrägrostes geführt; von

war, noch einer weiteren starken V ortrocknung unterliegt. Der abgezweigte Teil
der Verbrennungsgase tritt dann durch regelbare Kanäle y in den Heizraum vor dem
