Die in dem horizontalen Theil A ² des Nähmäschinenarmes gelagerte Antriebswelle B trägt ein Excenter oder Herz α, welches von den flachen Backen b der gegabelten Lenkstange C umfafst wird, deren unteres Ende in c mit^p einem Arm d, Fig. 2, der oscillirenden, den Stoffschieber bewegenden Welle D verbunden ist, welche unter der Platte A in den Körnerspitzen d¹ d¹ lagert. An dem entgegengesetzten Ende trägt diese Welle D zwei Arme d² i³, Fig. i, mit welchen der an dem Stoffschieber/ befestigte Lenker E beweglich verbunden ist. Die Lenkstange C trägt direct unter dem Gabelende einen Zapfen oder eine Rolle c¹, welche in der Nuth g einer Coulisse G, Fig. 3,4 und 5, geführt ist. Letztere ist vermittelst des Zapfens g\ Fig. 3, an dem aufrechten Theil A¹ des Nähmaschinenarmes aufgehängt und mit ihrem Arm g² in g^s mit der Regulirschraube h, deren Mutter im Theil A¹ des Maschinenarmes drehbar ist, gelenkartig verbunden. Diese Mutter bildet einen von aufsen in den Maschinenarm geschraubten Schraubpflock h \ dessen Gewinde eine von derjenigen der Schraube h verschiedene und entgegengesetzte Steigung hat, so dafs die letztere beim Drehen des Schraubpflockes nur um die Differenz zwischen den beiden Gewindegängen verschoben und hierdurch ein sehr genaues Einstellen der Coulisse G möglich wird.
