Es wird zunächst - entweder nach der Natur oder nach einem Bilde - eine Halbtonaufnahme hergestellt und auf diese vor dem Entwickeln im Kopierrahmen oder in der Kamera ein Raster kopiert. Bei beiden Kopierprozessen kann die Reihenfolge natürlich auch umgekehrt sein und der Raster zuerst kopiert werden. Beide Raster sind zweckmäßig Skalenraster; einer von ihnen muß ein Skalenraster sein, da sonst ein Bild ohne Tonreichtum entstehen würde. Als günstigste Kombination hat sich für das Kopieren auf das Negativ ein Kornraster mit natürlichem Korn, für das Kopieren auf die :Metallplatte ein Skalenkreuzraster erwiesen.First of all - either according to nature or according to an image - a halftone recording made and on this before developing in the copy frame or copied a grid in the camera.
