Der Motor, welcher die Flügel des Ventilators antreibt, ist mit dem Isolierring und Widerstand durch ein Kabel h (Abb. a) verbunden, und die einzelnen Verbindungsdrähte vom Isolierring zum Drehschalter d sind an den Streben il, i2, i', il befestigt. Der Isolierring, auf welchem sich die Widerstandsdrähte befinden, wird durch den vom Ventilator erzeugten Luftstrom gekühlt, und die Lebensdauer des Widerstandsdrahtes ist dadurch verlängert.
