Dust-proof crown winder for watches. The invention relates to
a watch with crown winding, in which the winding shaft rotates by means of the crown
and the watch can be wound. With watches of this type, but especially with small ones

to remedy these disadvantages, but without achieving complete success; because either

now finds a satisfactory solution in the clock according to the invention.
werden (Abb. i).
The drawing illustrates an example of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
In the two pictures the crown winding is for two different positions
depicted on the crown. The middle part i of the watch case has the threaded hole
2, in which a threaded bushing having a projection with a left-hand thread
3 is screwed in. The winding shaft q sliding in the sleeve 3. carries on top
End of a screwed-on sleeve 6, which is inserted into the cylindrical cavity 7 of the crown
8 is fitted. This carries two screws 9 and io, each with its inner
The end protrudes into a longitudinal groove ii or 12 of the sleeve 6. In the one hand from the cavity
7 and, on the other hand, the space formed by the recess 13 of the sleeve 6 is a helical spring
1q. housed, which has the endeavor to keep the crown resistant from the winding shaft
way to push up. The crown 8 can by means of one at the beginning of the cavity
attached thread 15 is screwed onto the protruding part of the sleeve 3 on the housing
be (Fig. i). An adapted, elastic sealing ring 16 is attached to the sleeve 3
attached so that when screwing the crown onto the sleeve 3, the interior of the case
is completely closed to the outside against dust and dirt (Fig. i).
To wind the clock and adjust the hands, you screw it
Krone 8 los. When unscrewing, the direction of rotation of which corresponds to winding the watch,
take the screws 9 and io moving along the grooves ii and 12, the winding shaft
q. in their axial direction with. If the crown 8 leaves the sleeve 3, it will
pushed upwards by the spring until the screws 9 and io on the upper
Hit the edge of the grooves ii and i2. In this position of the crown 8 the watch can
can now be fully wound up and used to adjust the hands. Is the clock
provided with a pointer setting device, by means of which the setting of the pointer
is effected by pulling out the winding shaft, it is now sufficient to pull out the crown,
around the wave q. and adjusting device in the position suitable for the pointer position
bring to. After setting the hands, the crown 8 is again against the sleeve
"3 is pressed and screwed onto it, the spring 1g being compressed
and the screw 9 or io strikes against the lower end of the groove ii and 12, respectively. Through this
the winding shaft is brought back into the winding position.
