Die Patentanmeldung DE-P 43 40 165.1 und DE-P 43 40 173.2 zeigen eine neue Maschine die auf einfache Weise eine Erkennung und Ausschleusung der Fremdteile erlaubt. Ein wesentliches Element in der Maschine ist die Transporteinrichtung z. B. ein Transportband das die Fasern an den Sensoren vorbeiführt. Diese Transporteinrichtung muß mehrere Funktionen erfüllen. Eine Aufgabe ist die Verdichtung und Mitnahme der Fasern, eine andere die Bildung eines Hintergrundes für die Farberkennung. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Ausführung der Transporteinrichtung die eine optimale Farbauswertung und Transport gewährleistet. Der Hintergrund ist für die Farberkennung wichtig. Ein Arbeiten ohne Hintergrund z. Die Signale der Sensoren werden einer Steuerung 6 zugeführt die Ventile 7 steuert. Die Düsen 8 erzeugen einen Luftstoß, der die Fremdfaser über eine Rutsche 11 in eine Sammelrinne 12 bläst. Die guten Fasern gelangen über eine Sammelrinne 9 und eine Absaugleitung 10 zur Weiterverarbeitung.
