Die Drehzahl der beiden Ringe ist dem jeweiligen Siebgut angepaßt und kann bei wechselnder Klebrigkeit evtl. elektrisch reguliert werden. Das Siebgut fällt durch einen Trichter c zunächst auf den inneren Siebring und wird hier bereits in der Hauptsache abgesiebt, während der Rest durch die Zentrifugalkraft nach außen abgeschoben wird und gegen eine ringsherum angebrachte Spritzwand d fliegt. Von hier aus fällt das Siebgut auf das tiefer liegende äußere Sieb, das sich, wie gesagt, langsamer dreht. Die neue Fallgeschwindigkeit und die verlangsamte Drehzahl bewirken ein gehöriges Nachsieben.
