KAISERLICHES PATENTAMT. The present invention relates to a centrifugal sorter for wood pulp and the like, in which the material to be sorted falls onto a system of plates and is thrown by centrifugal force against an upright screen cylinder. In order to increase the centrifugal force, according to the invention, one or more wings are arranged on the outer circumference of the plate system, namely over the entire height of the plate system. Fig. Ι is a vertical section through such a sorter; Fig. 2 is a plan view. The bell c wedged onto shaft α and provided with one or more wings b ■ carries a number of distribution plates d within wings b. The substance flowing down from the container e is distributed in a thin layer on the plate d. When rotating ao the same, the centrifugal force causes the material to move outwards and comes into contact with the wings b, which then fling it against the sieve and distribute it over the entire height of the sieve. To empty the inner channel g, which receives the material falling from the sieve, one or more wings b are extended into the channel and create the material of the outflow opening h. The advantages of this new arrangement compared to the known plate sorters with or without wings are as follows:
Each wing consists of one piece and is outside the plate system on
Spinner bottom attached.
2. The distribution plates are carried by the wings, creating studs between
the plates are no longer available and the material does not encounter any obstacles on them.
By arranging the wings outside the plate, a better distribution of the
Substance achieved over the sieve surface, as part of the material to be sorted as a result of the
The weight drops down on the wing surface and thus feeds the sieve height evenly

reduziert.4. By arranging the wings outside the plate, the width of the same is around the
Bucket width is reduced and is thus a contamination between the plates, which so far
was perceived as a major disadvantage in plate sorters, to the greatest possible extent
reduced.
