Anhängerkupplung für Sattelschlepper. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 26. September 1925 ab.Trailer coupling for semi-trailers. Patented in the German Empire on September 26, 1925.
September 1924 beansprucht.According to the Union Treaty of June 2, 1911, priority is due to this application of the application in England on September 26, 1924.
It is known at When coupling two vehicles, lift the front wheels of the trailer from the ground and For this purpose, special rails are provided on the rear of the towing vehicle, so here the rollers on the trailer run up and thereby the front frame of the trailer
nach hinten hochzuschwenken. Wie üblich j bis zur endgültigen Kupplung mit dem Zug- 10swivel up to the rear. As usual j until the final coupling with the train 10
Die Erfindung ist auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt.dare is lifted far enough so that the front wheels of the trailer do not hit the ground touch more and can be swiveled backwards. Of course special means must be provided here, which the wheels in one or the always adequately secure another location. In most cases, special levers and pawls are provided, which are activated when coupling or uncoupling ίο both cars need to move the front wheels of the trailer to one or the other Release location. The known devices are for the purpose just given, however practically not yet perfect enough. The purpose of the present invention is the facility to be taken so that the front wheels are during the coupling or decoupling of even move into the position that allows pivoting. On the frame of the trailer for such purposes slots are used to accommodate the upper end of the pivotable Support of the front axle and fork-shaped parts for receiving the front axle in the Arranged support position. The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
Abb. ι stellt zwei Fahrzeuge vor der Kupplung dar.Fig. Ι shows two vehicles in front of the clutch.
Fig. 2 shows both vehicles after the coupling.
Fig. 3 shows the trailer seen from the front.
Fig. 4 shows a special part of the coupling.
At the rear end of the towing vehicle frame 1, rails running diagonally downwards to the rear are provided as usual, on which the rollers 13 provided on the trailer run up when the two vehicles are coupled, so that the trailer is lifted with the front frame and its front wheels 17 are out of contact with the roadway . The coupling takes place through the bracket fastened to the chassis of the towing vehicle and the hooks 6 loaded with spring 9. On the frame 15 s belonging to the trailer, angle levers 20, 20 ′ 1 are provided on the right and left outside or inside. The free ends of the arms of this angle lever, designated by 20, hold the front axle 18. As can be seen from the drawing, the angle levers are held together by a rod 21. This rod is guided in special curved slots 22 of the frame i5 a . As long as the trailer is not connected to the towing vehicle (Fig. 1), the front axle is held in forks 19 provided at the bottom of the frame at 15 °. But as soon as both vehicles are coupled and the front part of the trailer is lifted, it becomes possible that the carrier of the front axle formed from the angular girdles and the rod 21 moves backwards in the curved slots 22 and so the previously held in the forks 19 Front axle 18 can emerge from those forks. In the meantime, the free end, appropriately provided with rollers 23, of the arms of the angle lever designated by 20 a will run onto the inclined surfaces 25 provided on the towing vehicle, which now causes the carrier of the front axle to move the front wheels backwards into the position shown in Fig. 2 swings up. As soon as the vehicles are uncoupled again, the carrier will automatically return down to the support position and, guided through the curved slot 22, push itself upwards as the front wheels gradually touch down until the front axle 18 is properly seated in the forks 19 again Has. It should also be noted that the part of the fork marked xg a is long enough so that it can serve as a stop for the front axle 18 during decoupling and the front axle cannot be moved beyond the target, i.e. over the fork 19.
