Description
Process for the processing of the refining of the mineral oil derivatives resulting acid resins. As is well known, the recovery of the acid tar is a special one important problem of mineral oil derivatives, many attempts to solve it have been employed. The acid tars result from the refining of the mineral oil derivatives with sulfuric acid and even in medium-sized systems achieve quite considerable amounts, which were previously kept in special lakes. The previously known procedures run almost exclusively on washing with water or on neutralization with various aids known per se.
The subject of the invention now consists in a process for working up of acid resins in neutral bitumen to get an express product that is used for road construction, for the production of tar-free roofing felt and insulation material, for fabrication of paint and briquette resin as well as for the production of mastic asphalt and for the production von wasserli *) sli (7heii Bitiiiiiiiias -equals with "-er% #, - enill) ar is, z # l # Das New procedures are not shown here, (leave the in the roughly decanted acid resins after refining still contained sulfuric acid with hydrogen sulfide züi Sulfur is reduced. The sulfur that is formed in this process is simultaneously used Dehydrogenation of the hydrocarbons of bitumen used.
In the practical implementation (read the procedure as follows from: The raw acid tars are brought into large vessels or cauldrons, who are also called agitators in the petroleum industry; in these cauldrons the acid tars are heated by heating with steam or direct firing, some of the sulfuric acid separates out and can be drained off.
After decatitation, the gudron is heated to the concentration of the sulfuric acid. As soon as the temperature has risen to about 130 ° C. , according to the invention, hydrogen sulfide is introduced into the acid tar. In a variant of the process, the hydrogen sulfide gas can also be generated directly in the gudron by adding a small amount of sulfur; which forms hydrogen sulfide with the hydrocarbons in the acid tar. The amount of additional sulfur used for this purpose can be small, (la at the moment hydrogen sulfide is formed a corresponding amount of sulfuric acid is reduced, so that free sulfur is again obtained, which reacts again in statu nascendi to the hydrogen sulfides.
It has by dimensioning of the, Si qureharzen after decantation remaining sulfuric acid in hand, walilweise and, depending on the desired properties of Etidprc # the hardness of the finally resulting Bituniens -lultes set.
One recognizes the complete reduction of the sulfuric acid from the Termination of the esteem, which is quite violent throughout the procedure; if that When foaming has ended, a so-called mirror is formed with a smooth, glossy surface, the bitumen produced is also deeply glossy and has a long thread length or ductility.
