Während die karosseriesei­ tige Anschraubfläche 14 an der A-Säule 7 vertikal verläuft, ist die an der Montageeinheit 2, genauer gesagt an dem Montageträger 3 befindliche, zugeordnete Anschraubfläche 15 so angeordnet, daß sie nach unten hin auf die A-Säule 7 zuläuft, so daß nach dem Einsetzen der Montageeinheit 2 zwischen ihr und der A-Säule 7 ein sich nach unten verjüngender asymmetrischer Spalt 16 verbleibt. (Im Rahmen der Erfindung könnte der Spalt auch symmetrisch sein; auch könnte die Schrägfläche an der A-Säule und die vertikale An­ schraubfläche am Montageträger sein.) Vor dem Einbau der Montage­ einheit 2 wird am Montageträger 3 ein dem Spalt 16 angepaßter Keil 17 befestigt und mittels einer Halteklammer 18 in einer Ein­ baulage gehalten (in Fig. 2 gestrichelt dargestellt). Der Keil 17 weist zwei übereinander liegende, sich in Vertikalrichtung er­ streckende Langlöcher 19, 20 auf, deren Breitenabmessung etwas größer ist als der Durchmesser der Schrauben 8, 9, so daß diese mit Spiel hindurchgesteckt und in die dahinterliegenden Muttern 12, 13 eingedreht werden können. Das untere Langloch 20 hat an seiner Unterseite eine Öffnung 21. Anordnung zur Befestigung eines zwei Seitenwände aufweisenden Bauteils an einem zwei weitere Seitenwände aufweisenden weite­ ren Bauteil, insbesondere eines Montageträgers für ein Armatu­ renbrett eines Kraftfahrzeuges an einer Karosserie, wobei das Bauteil unter Bildung von seitlichen Spalten mit seinen Sei­ tenwänden zentrisch zwischen den weiteren Seitenwänden des weiteren Bauteils positioniert und mittels wenigstens einer Schraubverbindung auf jeder Seite an dem weiteren Bauteil ge­ halten ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Spalte (16) sich nach unten verjüngend (keilförmig) ausgeführt sind und in jedem Spalt (16) in der Umgebung der Schraubverbindung (5, 6) ein Keil (17) mit dem gleichen Keilwinkel, wie ihn der Spalt (16) auf­ weist, vorgesehen ist, der vor dem Zusammenfügen der beiden Bauteile (1, 2) an einem (2) der Bauteile (1, 2) mittels einer Sicherung (18) in einer Einbaulage (17′) gehalten und nach der Positionierung des einen Bauteils (2) und anschließendem Lösen der Sicherung (18) durch sein Eigengewicht in eine das Spalt­ maß überbrückende Montagelage (17 in Fig. 2) rutschend ange­ ordnet ist.1.
