Der Auflagetisch besteht aus der Auflagefläche (starkes Eisenblech (1)) an die eine oben abgebogene Stütze (2) aus Flacheisen angenietet und durch 2 Schrauben (9) am Kreissägegestell befestigt ist. Durch den harten Widerstand der Seitenstütze kann leicht, schnell und vollkommen unfallfrei gespalten werden. Ein Winkel ist (22) an den vorhandenen U-förmigen Bandeisen angeschweißt. Die Klinke (24) ist am Winkel (23) durch ein Gewindeloch (25) mit einer Schraube (26) drehbeweglich befestigt. Die Klinke rastet in die Holzschraube, (30) die bei (31) in den Schutzkeil eingeschraubt ist u. hält ihn in der Ruhestellung unter dem Auflagetisch fest, das eine Feder (28) und ein Wiederlager (29) möglich macht. Weiter ist vorhanden, ein U- förmig ausgebildetes Wiederlager (46) für die Ruhestellung des Zahneisen mit 2 Laschen aus Bandeisen hergestellt auf der Unterseite des Auflagetisches aufgeschweißt. Ebenfalls angeschweißt ist an der linken Seite ein Winkel (47) mit dem Gewinde (48) zur Aufnahme der Klinke (49) mit der Schraube (50). Am Winkel und an der Klinke ist je ein Loch zur Aufnahme der Feder (51), die die Klinke drehbeweglich unter die Schraube (52) am Zahneisen leicht einklinken läßt. Soll das Zahneisen in die Arbeitsstellung gebracht werden, wird mit der linken Hand niedergedrückt, die Feder (39) bringt das Zahneisen sofort in die Arbeitsstellung.
