Der vorliegende Dampfkessel ist infolge seiner eigenthümlichen und neuen Einrichtung vorzüglich geeignet, mit den abziehenden, bei irgend einem Processe erhaltenen Verbrennungsgasen geheizt zu werden. Wegen der verhältnifsmäfsig niedrigen Temperatur, der Verbrennungsgase im Vergleich mit der Temperatur bei directer Feuerung hat der Kessel eine Construction erhalten, die sowohl eine sehr bedeutende Heizfläche erzielt, als auch eine möglichst vollkommene Circulation des Kesselwassers herbeizuführen gestattet. Das Speiserohr tl wird am unteren Theile des äufseren Kessels eingeführt, geht durch den Dampfraum des inneren Kessels und verzweigt sich in dem T-förmigen Verbindungsrohr g.
