Abstract

The engine coolant is diverted to the heat exchanger (2) by an additional thermostat (6) in front of the normal thermostat (5) leading to the radiator (K). This additional thermostat operates approx. 5 deg. C. below the normal thermostat. Stored warm water is drawn from the tank via a pump (12). Booster heating is supplied by electric heating elements (10) and by a fuel fired heater (17). The electric heater is controlled by a processor (8). The fuel fired heater is fed by a recirculating pump (15). The booster heaters are used to supplement engine heating. The stored warn water can be used to heat the coolant via another recirculating pump (18) and provide cold start assistance for the engine. USE/ADVANTAGE - Camping vehicle, utility vehicle. Cost saving water heating, less booster heating required.

Description

The invention extends to a device for Supply of vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, with Hot water from liquid-cooled combustion motors are driven. In the known devices of this type - e.g. B. RV - the hot water is in through special heat sources, e.g. B. by a liquid gas Burner and / or by an external electrical Ver supply line for heated heating elements. For Both types of domestic water heating will be too additional energy consumed, either in the form of a carried a large amount of liquid gas or in the form external electrical energy must be supplied and therefore causes increased operating costs and an additional burden represents the environment.

The object of the invention is to create a device which allows at least part of the operation of the Internal combustion engines from these by means of the liquid Cooling system to dissipate heat to heat the fresh water tank. This object is achieved by a Device according to the characterizing part of claim 1 ge been resolved. With such a device is under Maintaining the normal functioning of the liquid cooling system for the drive internal combustion engine heat to be dissipated from this during its operation partly for heating the container for warm use exploited water, which was previously used only by the cooler the outside air is released as soon as the engine is running Has reached operating temperature and the thermostatic valve in the coolant circuit opens. The fiction appropriate device makes with its operating temperature running drive motor for heating the container for warm fresh water by supplying heat through a additional heat source such as B. a liquid Burner or an electrical heating element unnecessary and saves weight as well as operating costs and reduces the environmental impact at the same time Reduction of CO emissions. More beneficial Features of the invention emerge from the subclaims and the following description of an embodiment example using the attached schematic drawing.

The device shown schematically in the drawing for supplying z.
